Craving a little color? Here’s how to update your kitchen with color.
Just the other day, I woke up with my kitchen in disarray. Everything was washed and cleaned from my dinner party the night before, but it was all over the counters. Instead of feeling stressed and overwhelmed from the clutter, I found myself feeling that Marie Kondo ‘spark of joy’ because everything just looked so pretty.
Typically, I looooove a clean kitchen with nothing on the counters but these days, I love to display all of my pretty kitchen things that are easy on the eyes. Entertaining has become such a joy for my home and I love how it plays out in the kitchen. When the beautiful pink wine glasses and blue and white bowls begin to pile up, it's almost like a colorful display of beautiful memories.
This is exactly why plates must be pretty, glasses must be chic and all the little things that you use in the kitchen should at least be fun to look at.
In my kitchen, everything is black, white and gold. But the accessories are colorful and vibrant. From lemon yellow dishes to pink glasses, it feels bright and cheerful.
Anthropologie is one of my favorite places to visit because they display all the kitchen ware so beautifully.
Today, I am sharing some images to inspire you to stock up your kitchen with pretty things. So that when you're having Summertime fun, you can display everything with style.
