Nothing feels better than a clean and organized closet. Period.
I love to get each area of my home clutter free and organized in a way that makes me feel really powerful and ready to attack my day. The first place I go, my closet! Getting rid of clothes that no longer work for me, no longer fit me, or anything that is not in perfect condition is my first task. I even have a very specific ritual that I like to do when de-cluttering my closet.
This makes for a BIG change in your day to day life. Not only is it easier to find what you are looking for, you make room for new things that make you feel good and confident when you leave your house in the morning.

Back when I did the One Room Challenge, I was so inspired by many of the other rooms done by the blogger/designer gals in the group. This walk in closet by Mimosa Lane blog just stole my heart.
I'm currently obsessed with light purple, I've painted my living room in it, and the way she used the lilac color, mixed with the gold trim and fixtures just makes it so glamorous! Who wouldn't just LOVE to get ready in here.
Not only does the closet have plenty of organization, she added pretty touches to the room that make her smile. She has books, places to sit with pretty fabrics, a rug that's soft to step on, candles to light, flowers to smell. It's got something to delight the senses. THAT'S the key to creating spaces that impact your life, surround your self by the things that make you happy, lift you up, encourage you to be your best self!
