When anyone I know finds a special piece from an antique shop or vintage boutique, I personally always think it should be painted black. There is something about a black piece that makes such a sophisticated statement to the space, no matter what the color scheme, style or situation. So, if you have found yourself with an adorable piece of furniture that needs a little love, get yourself a can of black paint and make that baby over.
