Have you watched the latest season of Selling Sunset? I’ve already seen it twice. I love watching for the fashion, the real estate and the exotic places they travel to. This season, one thing I loved was that the girls love language, was gift baskets.
Like when Chrishell was post surgery and Emma brought her a thoughtful self care gift basket. Or when Chrishell went to visit Mary and gave her a housewarming gift basket.
Ladies, I took notes. I love to put together gift baskets but I haven’t done one in a really long time. Watching these girls give baskets to each other completely inspired me to make gift baskets my gifting theme for this holiday.
Giving a well thought out gift basket really is the ultimate way to give someone you love a gift that speaks right to the heart. You can create something so special that really speaks to the persons interests.
I once gave a boyfriend a gift basket of all his favorite snacks, candies and hangover medicine after a long guy weekend when he came home. He raved about the basket and would tell his friends about it every chance he got. Specialized and thoughtful gift baskets are always a winning idea!
So I’ve put together some ideas to help you put together a gift basket that will make you the most popular person in your office, group of friends or family.
HOW TO GET STARTED CREATING THE ULTIMATE GIFT BASKET:
The whole purpose of gift giving is to show appreciation, so what better way to show someone how special the are to you than by carefully collecting items for them that will bring them a sense of joy and happiness upon receiving!
Here are a few things to consider as you begin to create your theme gift basket.
Step 1: Think of the theme.
When it comes to giving anyone a gift basket, you want to select something that appeals to their interests or hobbies of choice. A few ideas that might get your mind thinking:
Self Care gift basket
New Home gift basket
Teacher gift basket
Gardening/Plant lover basket
Book lover basket
Wine/coffee/food gift basket
Step 2: Select the perfect basket that they can reuse.
You want to get very creative with the basket choice. Baskets are perfect because they are multi-functional, so make sure to gift them a quality basket they can use for organizing, storage, or even decorating. I like to get something that is very useful and not something to be thrown out, I like to not be wasteful.
Wire or Wicker Basket
Mixing Bowl
Pot or Planter
Large Clear Glass Jar
Decorative Storage Container
