This post will show you 29 creative ways to decorate a Fall tray in your home.
With Fall on the horizon, the urge to light pumpkin candles and start carving pumpkins is slowly creeping in. Or, if you’re anything like me, you’re already planning your no carve pumpkin projects.
I am on a mission to show you how you can incorporate the warm and cozy ambiance that Fall brings without breaking the bank.
The coffee table, the bathroom, the kitchen corners are all perfect places to add those darling Fall touches. Using a tray, woven placemat, or wood cutting board is a great starting point for putting together a fall centerpiece.
What to put on a fall tray?
You can be very creative about the things you use to decorate a tray for fall. I suggest starting with one oversized item — For example, a vase with dried greenery or pampas grass.
Then adorn that with smaller items, like decorative pumpkins, candles, and small farmhouse fall signs. Dried greenery looks beautiful in an amber glass bottle.
I like to hit up local thrift stores and garage sales for unique finds at the end of Summer, just in time to prepare for Fall.
Gorgeous one-of-a-kind vases, vintage style frames, an interesting tray and your space will be oozing cozy personality without draining your bank account.
A few tips to keep in mind:
Don’t be afraid to DIY : Often, I can make what I want for a fraction of the cost, and let me tell you, TikTok is a goldmine for DIY fall décor tutorials.
Repurpose: It is so easy to reuse everyday items you can find around your home. For example, Fill a random vase with twinkle lights and acorns to reinvigorate its magic.
Choose the right sized tray: I like a medium to large sized tray so that I have plenty of space to coral items in groups of odd numbers (decorators trick).
The beauty of Fall decor is that you get to use a lot of warm earthy tones! Consider mixing greens, tans and browns with neutrals for a balanced look.
