I've found that many of my clients are into beige, especially beige sofas. They find that its the safest bet when committing to something that costs so much. I do all I can to try to get my clients to be a little bit more bold, but sometimes you've just got to work with what they want. So, I like to dream up pretty ideas to go with something like a beige sofa. Right now, I'm all about pairing it with blush and bits of gold.
It's tailored, not too feminine and very chic looking. The more deco and vintage accents you bring in, the better. Eclectic pieces in layered neutrals can make for very interesting design.
Even the boldest of bold designers, Kelly Wearstler, can rock a good beige sofa look.
Here is a mix I would want to work with. . .
Beige sofa | vintage lamps | blush roses | ombre velvet pillow | deco patterned pillow | beige desk | abstract oversized art | gold shell | pyrite accent | pink vintage chair | plexi craft acrylic trunk |
