With the weather cooling down so quickly, the little travel bug inside me is slowly creeping up. The last two years, most of my travel has been to Europe and I loved every minute of it but why not make it down south for a change? I was doing some research on hotels in Miami, when I found the Faena, I fell in love. Then I realized they have a sister hotel in Argentina. I've always wanted to visit Argentina but after seeing how incredibly designed this hotel was, I needed to know more. It was designed by Phillipe Stark, and every square inch of it is just full stop. I've never been much of a "red" person, but I just love the red scheme used in this hotel. With just the right amount of the passionate color used, its just an incredibly rich and glamorous hotel.
The creator of the hotel Alan Faena, is an Argentinian fashion designer and perhaps the man behind the extravagant style of this palace. Not only can you relax and retreat in the spa, gym, pool galaxy, there are dance shows and cabaret performances all week long. Can you just imagine dining underneath those magical unicorns?
Every once and a while in design, you see the desk behind the bed, or the table behind the sofa. I am such a fan of this look because it actually creates such a cozy dynamic and is an excellent use of space is some situations. I especially love it here.
