fall decor: dark, dramatic & moody

There is something about the colder weather that invites a moody feel. All I want to do is paint my walls dark colors and throw rich jewel tones into the mix. I'm pretty sure this look would be a little much for a home, but for that very sexy, boutique hotel it would work like charm. I love this look paired with bold hues of deep red.

Abigail Ahern is like the queen of dark and moody and you just have to love her for it. She takes these deep colors and pairs whimsical colors to keep it from being like a cave and instead is like a fabulous stage set. Tony Duquette is another decorating magician that comes to mind when I think of dark drama.

designer crush: billy halpern

Okay, so I am always so excited to get on board with a designer who is doing new things and knocking it out of the park with glamour. This boy {with a face too cute to deny}, Billy Halpern, completely won me over with this mint green + dash of pink living space. Hello. I could move right into this home and be happy forever, well at least until I got my decorista add and needed to switch up the color. However, the elements, would stay the same. Floor to ceiling drapes, tufted sofa, mirrored coffee table, over the top chair, orchids and oversized chanel art. It's so me....oh, and this dining room too.

I've been searching for the perfect 10 person dining table. I love this one. Extendable, durable, modern yet hollywood glam...perfect. I also love this white kitchen, its livable which I love because I find most white kitchens aren't.
